The meaning behind the name
Emmanuel means God with us. Bethel means House of God.
Our church is a Congregational Church in Royal Oak, Michigan. We are a bible based church striving to live out the Biblical command to love God and our neighbors by serving people with the love of Christ.
Emmanuel Bethel has a rich history that has spanned over 125 years, from Detroit to downtown Royal Oak and now 4000 Normandy Road.

What to expect for Sunday worship
You can expect friendly and welcoming people, traditional worship music, compelling preaching from the Bible, and an opportunity to encounter God. Dress is casual and comfortable. Families are welcomed — we love the sounds of little ones. We are a small congregation and desire to make you feel welcome.
