The meaning behind the name
The name Emmanuel means God with us and Bethel meaning House of God. Our church is a Congregational Church in Royal Oak, Michigan. We are a bible based church striving to live out the Biblical command to love God and our neighbors by serving people with the love of Christ.
Emmanuel Bethel has a rich history that has spanned over 125 years with the initial building located in Detroit. Subsequently, it was relocated twice: first to downtown Royal Oak Michigan, and then to its current location at 4000 Normandy Rd., Royal Oak, Michigan.
